What Is Core Power Yoga?

Core power yoga is based on power yoga, which is in turn based on the Ashtanga style of yoga. This style is a vigorous form of yoga that is meant to give you a full body workout, improving your strength and flexibility at the same time. Core power yoga heals and stimulates the body and mind through meditation and intense exercise.

How Does Core Power Yoga Work?

Core power yoga works through three different levels.

  • The first is the physical level that focuses on developing your endurance as well as flexibility. This first level is a combination of intense workouts and extreme stretches.
  • The second level uses mental power to focus your will and desire. Meditation and other methods are used to tune your mind and keep it sharp.
  • The third level is the spiritual level, which supports the first two.
