The Union of Yoga
The word yoga means union and it is through the union of the three basic elements of human life, when they are in balanced harmony with one another, that we get to experience life on a level that should be naturally occurring but is rarely found in modern life with people who don’t include some form of yoga and meditation or other discipline that can bring about the necessary balance.
These three basic elements include your subconscious self, your reasoning or intellectual self, and your mind where you get your creativity and inspiration.
For most people one or another of these elements is out of balance in relation to the others. In some people all three are out of balance due to various factors such as a lack of development, a lack of control, or a lack of activity.
No matter what level of imbalance there may be between these three the result will be conflict and dissatisfaction in your life as you try to cope with one or more areas that are lacking.
The simple act of including Yoga into your lifestyle can bring about the balance that is required simply and effectively with very little effort considering the positive aspects that it can bring to your life.
When these three elements are in balance with one another you live a life of harmony, where you are in control and yet relaxed enough to be able to enjoy the freedom that this offers.
The feeling of well-being that people develop as the body mind and soul become more balanced is something that many haven’t experienced for many years of their life as they get overwhelmed with the hectic struggle to cope with the fast paced life that we have brought upon ourselves.
Now more than ever people need to take time out to bring back that balance that many of us seem to have lost.
